Saturday, December 8th Game Recap

We had 41 games Saturday night.  I skipped the preview.  Here are some notable performances.

Breck’s Olivia Mobley had 5 points………in the first period vs Orono. She finished with 6 points.

Kylee Hopp had the OT game winner in Prairie Center’s 4-3 win over Crookston.

TRF jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two before giving up 2 goals on 2 shots in the third in their 6-2 win over Detroit Lakes.

East Grand Fork’s Madison McDonald traded hat tricks with Fergus Falls’ Sophie Rausch in EGFs 6-4 win.

Mound Westonka’s Lauren Burris had the OT game winner in their 2-1 win over St. Francis/North Branch. ST/NB goalie Rachel Miller made 53 saves.  

Nicole McCabe had the hatty for Minnesota River in their 5-1 win over Windom.

Shakopee’s Paige McNeil scored both of her team’s goals, including the OT game winner, in the Saber’s win over Apple Valley.  Shakopee goalie Brianna Eastman had 30 saves.

Roseau came back from a 1-3 deficit after 1 to beat North Wright County 5-4.

Holy Family’s Alex Pellicci made 37 saves to give her team the 2-1 victory over Delano/Rockford.

There were 15 goals total in the OT game between Princeton and Duluth. 

Olivia Smallbrook breaking out with the hatty for Dodge County in their 4-1 win over Hopkins/Park.

Jenna Hartung and Lyndsey Howard combine for 7 points in Burnsville’s 5-2 win over Rosemount.

Madysen Palmer and Bridget McGuire combine for 9 points in Holy Angels’ 7-1 win over Waconia.

Maple Grove came back from down 0-3 to beat Blaine 5-4 in OT. Chloe Corbin with the OT game winner. 

Duluth Marshall shut it down after leading Moose Lake 10-1 going into the 2nd intermission.  That’s how it ended.  DM’s Olivia Boettcher, Emily Lemker, and Isabelle Stauber combined for 16 points.

Wayzata beat Hill Murray for the first time in history. Final was 6-4.  Kaci Johnson continues to have the hot hand with 2 goals and 6 points in last two games.
